Description
Created to help busy women stay organized during the job application process, this tracker keeps all applications, deadlines, and follow-ups in one clear place.
This job application tracker includes a structured table with fields such as Company, Job title, and Date applied.
With this job application tracker, you can easily see where you applied, when you applied, and what stage each application is in.
How to use this job application tracker effectively:
-
- Company & Job Title – Write the name of the company and the exact job title you applied for. This helps avoid confusion when applying to similar roles.
- Date Applied – Record the date you submitted your application so you can track response times and plan follow-ups.
- Job Ad Saved (Recommended) – I strongly recommend copying the full job advertisement text and saving it in a separate document or notes app. Paste a short reference (for example: “Saved in Notes – Google Docs”) into this column. This is useful because many job ads get deleted or edited after applications close.
- LinkedIn Page Followed (Recommended) – Follow the company’s LinkedIn page after applying. This helps you stay updated on company news, hiring announcements, and recruiter posts. In this column, simply mark “Yes” once you’ve followed the page.
- Status (Suggested values) – Use consistent status labels such as: applied, pending, denied.
This makes it easier to scan your job application tracker and understand your progress at a glance.
